Our Community Chair is modeling a quilt hug. These make excellent cover ups for cancer patients and senior citizens especially those in wheelchairs.
She made a border of 5-inch squares (charm pack) but you could use orphan blocks, border print, or anything to add a special touch. You can quilt it and bind it or sew around the edge with the batting on top and turn right side up and top stitch the edge.
